Gold Rush: Another classic created in New York City, from famous downtown haunt, Milk & Honey. It's essentially a whiskey sour but with honey syrup instead of sugar. A wildly refreshing bourbon based cocktail.
How to make it:
2 ounces bourbon
1 ounce honey syrup
1 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Add the bourbon, honey syrup and lemon juice into a shaker with ice. Shake hard for 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass with one large ice cube or up into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon peel.
Pro tip: If you like a touch of spice, add ginger to your honey syrup.
