2019 Domaine du Bartassou, Un Petit Grain de Mamour (Grenache), VDF
$21.00
Anthony Vidal is from a farming family. He has always had a passion for grapes, since he was young. In 2014, he met Audrey, a city girl from Marseille. She fell in love with the vineyards and ever since, has been dedicated to agriculture.
They have a similar vision, to work the vines more like a winemaker in a cellar than in a cooperative cellar. They had always dreamed of making their own wine, but had neither the financial means nor the structures necessary for that. In 2018, after a discussion of their desires with Thierry Forestier (Domaine Mont de Marie), he offered to help and they accepted. They came out of the cooperative cellar definitely this year. As of 2019, they have 13 ha of vines including 11 ha in production with different grape varieties (Grenache, Cinsault, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache Gris, Sauvignon, Carignan, Cabernet, Nielluccio)
