100% Listan Negro. A new cuvee from a single parcel called Tio Luis,l at 400m elevation. Fermentation and aging in concrete. 75% whole cluster. Volcanic soils are mixed with clay, sand, & basalt. Migan was the old name for the town of La Perdoma, where these three vineyards are found. Bottled without added SO2. Valle de la Orotava is located on the north-central part of Tenerife. It has a distinctive and trademark humidity that gets pushed into the valley by the Alisos trade winds. Vines here are typically very old and trained in the unique cordon trenzado method where canes are braided together and held up by posts. Some of the vines can reach up to 20m in length. Vines are found between 600-800m elevation and there is more clay in the volcanic soils here.
