Vine Age: Planted in the 1970s or prior (Paris l'Hôpital), planted in the 1950s or prior (Puligny-Montrachet).
Terroir: 50% from Paris l'Hôpital (Hautes Côtes de Beaune, near Maranges, sandy granite soils), 50% from Puligny-Montrachet (limestone marl).
Viticulture (négoce): Lutte raisonnée
Vinification: 100% whole-cluster, ambient yeast fermentation with a pied de cuve, only very gentle pump-overs (sometimes none), limited foot punch-downs, aged 13 months in 228L barrels (very little new oak), minimal SO2 addition at harvest, then only if needed (during aging and before bottling), no fining, no filtration.
