2021 La Rogerie Alsace Le Bouc - Pinot Blanc / Auxerrois

Justine & François of Champagne La Rogerie produce this wine from a 2.5 ha holding in Alsace on the lower slopes of the three villages on granite dominant soil. They first start to harvest the Pinot blanc then move to Champagne then back to Alsace for the Riesling. They still manage to harvest earlier than everyone else. All the wines are made in Champagne barrels. They keep the wines in barrel until no more sugar is present. When they started they bought the 400 litre acacia oak barrels from Selosse.
