We’ve assembled our favorite cocktails and given you the recipes and ingredients to make killer versions at home.
The Brooklyn: Our borough (!) is a spicy, citrusy whiskey based cocktail. It originally calls for the orange liqueur Amer Picon but there are easily suitable replacements if you can't get your hands on on a bottle!
How to make it:
2 ounces rye whiskey
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
1/4 ounce maraschino liqueur
1/4 ounce Amer Picon (or Amaro CioCiaro, Ramazotti and, in a pinch, a couple dashes of Angosturs bitters will do!)
Optional: garnish w/ orange or lemon twist
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass. Add ice, and stir until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass. Optionally add a lemon or orange twist (we vote orange!).
Pro tip: Bourbon in place of the Rye will make a richer version.
