Champagne arrivals đ«
The newest Champagne arrivals are a mix of historical favorites we see once a year and rising stars with expanded lineups. Especially exciting: new cuvées from growers like La Rogerie and Raphaël Bereche.
DELALOT & JĂRĂME LEFEVRE
JérÎme Lefevre is making some of the most provocative wines in the entire region. On the western edge of the Vallée de la Marne, he farms his tiny 1.5ha organically with Fukuoka principals (no tilling, no pesticides, no fertilizer, no weeding, no pruning). Already known for his bombastic Delalot label wines, he's now also bottling even more progressive nÚgoce wine under the label Champagne JérÎme Lefevre.
Not afraid of harvesting ripe fruit, his wines have a throughline of power and phenolic structure. The sparkling wines are stunning, but it's also worth noting that his multiple still wines are some of the most unique in their category.

LA ROGERIE
The duo behind La Rogerie are releasing arguably their most exciting set yet, with two single Grand Cru bottlings.
Both from Avize, there's a perpetual cuvée of La Bourg Sud; and an impressive vintage bottling from old vines in Champ Bouton. Top tier in the already star-studded appellation.

SUENEN
AurĂ©lien Suenen's finely tuned, mineral wines get increasingly impressive with each release â truly, he's one of the most talented young winemakers in Champagne rn.
Yes, he's working with Grand Cru fruit here; but there's no denying that his precision (and natural talent) go a long way in extracting the purest expressions of Oiry and several other coveted sites in the CĂŽte des Blancs. The current set includes his latest single vineyard vintage releases from 2017...run!

NOWACK
Meunier fans always perk up when Flavien Nowack's wines arrive; it's a grape he makes with precision (especially his signature single vineyard bottlings). But the entire lineup is made in his same beautiful, balanced zero-zero style.
And, every release seems to bring something new: this time, the use of yeast acquired from friends in Jura (!) for his complex, reminiscent-of-red-wine Meunier/Chardo blend.

BĂRĂCHE
RaphaĂ«l BĂ©rĂȘche is a busy man, as you'll see with this newest release. It includes several of the Grand Cru bottlings and a tiny amount of his wife's wines from the village of Ludes (pictured here).
Along with these are two notable new wines; 'Une' and a magnum-only bottling from Avize: 'Une' a âsingle wine, single terroirâ philosophy, and a very special Avize bottling only done in magnum. More detailed notes on the site.
