Jeremy Arnaud's Textured Chablis

11/18/25
Jeremy Arnaud's style of Chablis allows for the wines to fully breathe in the cellar and be themselves without trying to fit a steely mold that – frankly – the appellation doesn’t neatly fit into anymore.

The range comes from a handful of sites, and his hands-off approach naturally showcases what each terroir wants to say in a given vintage. Not unlike Château de Béru, his wines frame Chablis’ stony flavors with texture and tension.

Jeremy's holdings are tiny, which is why we’re thrilled to have these for the season and all its meals. Lineup below.

Jeremy Arnaud launched his domaine in 2016 with a 0.55 ha family plot, Les Veuillots; and the spiritual heart of his work (he bottles it three ways!) is from here. Since then he has expanded the family parcel to 1.7 ha and, with small holdings across additional crus, grown the domaine to 6 ha. All of which is farmed organically.

In his cellar the work is strictly low intervention. Native fermentations lead into long élevage rarely seen here, and several wines age ~2 years before bottling. None see fining or filtration.

What you get are deeply personal, sumptuous takes on the appellation that are impossible to dislike.

2022 Jeremy Arnaud Petit Chablis 'Sur Priault,' Burgundy, $44
From a single vineyard just outside the Chablis appellation, aged in stainless steel with a portion in older oak. This is tiny production like his other wines – perhaps moreso, with the site capping out at 600 bottles/vintage – and a sought-after value in Petit Chablis.

2023 Jeremy Arnaud Bourgogne Tonnerre Les Huées, Burgundy
750ml $48  |  Magnum, $125
Thirty year old vines from the Tonnerrois just above the town of Chablis; sees split aging in tank and barrel for a year before another year in bottle. Serious Bourgogne.

2023 Jeremy Arnaud Les Veuillots 'Ovoide,' Bourgogne Blanc, $48
Out of the three ways he produces Veuillots, his cement egg approach is the most novel. Its continuous less movement creates texture, rounding edges without any wood. A special wine.

2022 Jeremy Arnaud Chablis 'Vallée de Clabory', Burgundy, $50
Village bottling from the right bank around Chichée; classic Chablis flavors give way to power and nuttiness through an élevage of 2 years in barrel.

2022 Jeremy Arnaud Chablis 'Sous le Parc', Burgundy, $54
Situated below Château de Béru, this sees longer wood élevage and reminds us of the 'Béru' monopole bottling in its power.

2022 Jeremy Arnaud Vau de Vey 'La Grande Chaume' Chablis Premier Cru, $85
Left bank, very steep, southeast-facing Kimmeridgian marl near Beine; harvested all by hand, from vines largely planted 1980–85.
