2022 Florez Wines 'Free Solo' Old Vine Heritage Blend Santa Clara Valley, USA
$35.99
Inspiration
100+ year old vines and California heritage in Santa Clara County! I fell in love with field blend plantings because they are relics from the past and represent what the first settlers planted. This particular field blend is comprised of Zinfandel, Mourvedre, Carignan, Alicante Bouschet, Petite Sirah, and Black Muscat. From a tiny vineyard 100+ years old. This is a finite resource and it’s a privilege to be the only vintner to make wine from this small heirloom vineyard.
Expression
The color of this wine is a deep purple. Aromatics of bramble berries, plum, and herbs. A juicy palate of fruit and flavor. This unique vineyard always creates a wine with a singular personality that can’t be replicated. This wine is fit for a feast but will do well at any dinner table! Enjoy along side roast meats, savory mushroom & vegetable dishes, or simply by the fire or with a good book. 15.5% ABV
