The Winninger from steep terraces in the Winninger with vine ages around 40+ years is a significant step up in quality and complexity. The acid, mineral, and purity that Riesling is capable of starts to be apparent here. Aging in small to medium sized neutral barrels also leads to a slightly creaminess that complements the stony almost gravely texture and spicy notes. Will age very well.
