About this experience

Germany's Spätburgunders (Pinot Noir) have reached undeniable greatness: the country is finally able to obtain the required ripeness, and the knowledge and raw materials of barrels and clones is finally dialed in.

Germany has a long-storied history of Pinot since the times of Charlemagne, and is perfectly primed for a great few decades ahead. With cooler climates than its neighbor (France) to the West; awash in limestone parcels; and full of driven and curious growers who can do what is now unthinkable in Burgundy: start and build a new estate.

If Burgundy seems a bit out of reach price wise, now is the perfect time to get on the Spätburgunder train before its inevitable rise in value and speculation.

We will be guided through a few of the unequivocal greatest hands of Pinot that we are lucky to work with by our friends at vom Boden, including Wasenhaus, Enderle&Moll, Leipold, Moise and more.

All experience levels are welcome (you just need to be 21+)! We will provide you with all class materials needed. Please no gum, mints, or strong perfumes.

E-tickets will be delivered via email; please arrive a few minutes early to check in and be seated.
