2004 Lopez de Heredia,Tondonia Gran Reserva
$245.00
Harvested on October 11, the 2004 Gran Reserva blends Tempranillo (predominantly), Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano sourced from Viña Tondonia’s historic vineyards planted between 1913 and 1914 on alluvial clay-limestone soils next to the Río Ebro. Hand-harvested grapes are fermented (often in large American oak tinas) and aged for 10 years in barrel, followed by 10 years of bottle ageing in subterranean cavas before release in November 2018.
