A new cuvee from one of our favorite rising stars in Saumur. Hes gotten hold of land in the hollowed ground of Poyeaux - he's decided to bottle two different wines from his parcels, this being from the bottom of the hill. The more accesible, ample bottling of the two. Dark fruit and plenty of site specific spice. A great introduction to this site w/o the hefty price tag.
