From Coombsville’s cool, bay-influenced pocket on volcanic ash and cobbly alluvium, this Merlot is picked on the earlier side for lift and fermented with native yeasts in open-top tanks, using gentle daily pump overs to keep extraction fine. Élevage is deliberately quiet—neutral barrels, no heavy toast—so the vineyard voice stays front and center; bottling is unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur.
