2024 Yann Bertrand Saint Amour 'Les Bambins', Beaujolais, France
$50.00
From the single vineyard ‘La Côte de Besset,’ 40 and 70 year-old bush-trained vines. The blue stones from mica schist and sandstone scree in this parcel lend this particular bottle a robust and spicy dimension. Cold carbonic maceration for 20 days. Elevage of 50% in 600L demi muids, and 50% in 225L for 8 months. No fining, filtering or SO2. A charming wine, more of the huntsman side of Gamay.
