Built mostly from Bedrock Vineyard and Lazy Dog, with select declassified barrels from Monte Rosso and Montecillo, this Cabernet folds in a dash of Malbec and a touch of Cabernet Franc for color, perfume, and lift. Fermentation is with indigenous yeasts in open-top tanks, and élevage runs in 225–228 L barrels with only about 10% new oak to keep the vineyard voice front and center (+/-15 months total). The 2023 reads dark and pure—cassis, mulberry, and cedar over a cool, stony line—framed by firm yet polished tannins and a long, savory finish
