This is a new wine and the first release of the Mountain Meadow Pinot Noir. This 4 acre vineyard is head trained, dry farmed and planted in a 4 acre meadow in the mountains of the SLO Coast, 4 miles from the Pacific. This wine is coastal, fragrant yet hearty, made with 75% whole cluster and aged in old french oak barrels for 17 months to soften its mountain edges. This wine was racked for the first time to bottle, without fining or filtration, with minimal sulfur used. 168 cases were produced.
