2012 Arnot-Roberts Coastlands Vineyard Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast, USA 1.5L Magnum
$240.00
From Ross Cobb’s rugged Coastlands Vineyard high above Occidental on the far West Sonoma Coast, this magnum captures the site’s wind-cooled, fog-skimming intensity in a low-alcohol, finely etched register. Arnot-Roberts first worked with Coastlands in 2012, fermenting with native yeasts and a significant share of whole clusters to emphasize perfume and mineral cut, then aging in neutral barrels to keep the vineyard voice front and center. The wine is bright and savory, layering cranberry and pomegranate with rose, spice and cool coastal earth, finishing long on tactile, chalk-tinged tannin—classic True Coast energy in a format built to evolve gracefully.
