From 60–80-year-old Pinot Noir farmed for very low yields, this cuvée is fermented with native yeasts using a significant portion of whole clusters and gentle pump overs. Élevage runs about two years, beginning with a higher share of new barrels before moving to once-used wood to refine texture, and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration with minimal sulfur. The 2020 vintage brings more concentration and ripeness, but the palate stays poised—ripe red and black fruit, violet and spice, and a firm, chalk-lined finish that will unfurl beautifully with time.
