2022 Jonas Dostert “Pure Dolomite” (Elbling/Chardonnay), Mosel, Germany
$42.00
Only a few bottles left! Additional quantities available to purchase now for the next restock arriving in October.
This is a blend of 60% Chardonnay with 40% Elbling, and to some extent, this is what the wine tastes like. It has the stoney, essential quality, the punch of Elbling with a bit more of the glossy, quinine-like fruit of Chardonnay – a bit, but not much, of the curves of Chardonnay. It does have an elegance that the sharper edges of the Elbling miss. It is profoundly mineral and does have more than a subtle hint of “pure dolomite.”

Jonas Dostert's New Release ✨
For the last three vintages, Dostert’s have been some of the most limestone-driven wines to come our way.
