This Syrah comes from two sites within 1 mile of each other between Solvang and Santa Ynez: Pace Vineyard and Valley View Vineyard. Both benefit from afternoon breezes and cold nights to help retain acidity and balance the bright, sunny Santa Ynez days. Pace vineyard is organically farmed by Ryan’s father and wine industry veteran, Randy Pace.
100% whole cluster fermented with native yeast (and a touch of Viognier). Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Only 96 cases produced.
