The vintage started with quite good water reserve from the winter, there was no frost or hail in springtime.
The hard drought of the summer months did not affect bunch development. Approaching the harvest, the prolonged heat and limited humidity from the early hours of the day kept the bunches very healthy.
Sangiovese and Moscato were picked on August 29th, while Trebbiano and Malvasia later on September 14th.
