From the Les Saugettes lieu-dit in Grusse—the same prized slope long bottled by Domaine des Miroirs—this Chardonnay comes off west-facing, calcareous marl planted around 1970. The site’s shallow soils and afternoon light give a taut, mineral frame: citrus and cool orchard fruit over a chalk-saline line, with subtle savory detail and a long, finely textured finish. It’s a precise, place-first Jura Chardonnay that reads both crystalline and quietly profound.
