2023 Susana Esteban 'Procura' Na Anfora Branco Vinho Regional Alentejano, Portugal
$32.99
This wine is the result of my relentless search for very old vines from the Serra de São Mamede, at an altitude of 700 metres. I have been recovering them over the years.
It was aged for 8 months in used French oak barrels brought from Burgundy, to preserve the identity of the vineyard.
The nose is intense and complex, very mineral and with citrus notes. In the mouth it is deep and full-bodied, a perfect symbiosis of the minimality and freshness of the Serra de São Mamede, with the elegance of the Amphorae.
