A Pinot Noir on partially very shallow and poor limestone clay soil grown on the Ehrenstetter Olberg with a more southeast exposure than the Kanzel. These vineyards are a bit hotter and more exposed to the sun, mainly German clones and some French selection massale, with different age and origins and mainly manual work. Fermentation with 2/3 whole cluster, in the beginning as a carbonic maceration and afterwards in a classic open vat fermentation with some punch downs. Aged in mainly used French oak barrels for 16 months.
