2024 San Barnaba Langhe Nebbiolo, Piedmont, Italy
$48.00
San Barnaba is the project of brothers Roberto and Giovanni Pasquero with Francesco Rocca, son of Bruno Rocca, bringing together deep vineyard access and a meticulous cellar hand. Their Langhe Nebbiolo comes from a lieu-dit across from Barbaresco’s renowned Faset cru, a site that delivers both fragrance and structure. Fermentation is with native yeasts in barrique, followed by over a month on skins to draw out depth and character. Élevage takes place in large Slavonian oak, and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration and with only minimal sulfur.
