“The nose is bright and citrus-driven, bursting with grapefruit and pithy fruit, layered over mild tannin and a touch of spearmint. On the palate, the elevated corn influence shows as candy corn sweetness, balanced by viscous texture, bitter citrus peel, light tannin, and subtle wood sugars. A faint nuttiness and easy, well-balanced structure make this drink feel closer to a high-rye bourbon than a traditional rye. Overall, it’s an approachable, citrus-forward 6-year Willett rye with a surprisingly long, satisfying finish.” —Skurnik Whisk(e)y Portfolio
