Les Clos is the warmest and most powerful of the Chablis Grands Crus, a steep, south-facing slope of thin clay over Kimmeridgian limestone. The Vocorets harvest by hand, press gently, and ferment with native yeasts, then raise the wine on fine lees in stainless steel with a small share in seasoned barrels and no new oak to preserve precision. The 2023 is concentrated yet taut, layering ripe citrus and stone fruit with oyster-shell salinity and firm chalky extract, finishing long, mineral, and poised.
