Velich’s iconic Chardonnay, from old vines planted in 1959 in Burgenland’s Seewinkel, where limestone-rich soils meet a unique microclimate shaped by shallow salt lakes. Fermented spontaneously in a mix of used barrique and 500L oak, then aged nearly two years on full lees without bâtonnage, Tiglat is both expansive and precise. It’s a wine of stature, but not flash—built to age, with serious grace.
