2004 Charles Dufour 'The Ballad of the villages' Brut Nature, Champagne, France
$215.00
90% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Blanc. A true family affair—this one comes from Charles and his father, Robert, before the domaine became Dufour. 100% from the 2004 harvest, sourced from their four villages: Landreville, Chervey, Neuville, and Celles-sur-Ource. Fermented and aged in stainless, tirage in May 2005… and then? Left to dream on its lees for 17 years, untouched and unseen. Finally disgorged—3,000 bottles—in May 2022, purely for the joy of discovery.
