2024 Bertin-Delatte Argonette (Grolleau), Loire, Vin de France
$29.99
Argonette is the estate’s light, chill-friendly red made from Grolleau and bottled as Vin de France. The fruit comes from their tiny Anjou domaine in Rablay-sur-Layon, farmed organically with a minimal-intervention mindset. Fermentation is with native yeasts and a gentle extraction to keep the tannins fine, followed by élevage in tank; it’s bottled unfined and unfiltered with only a very small sulfur addition. The 2024 shows crunchy red fruit, peppery lift, and easygoing freshness—built to serve slightly chilled.
