2024 Domaine Alice et Olivier de Moor "Le Même Azimut" Masque Blanc, France

50% Riesling/30% Gewurztraminer/10% Muscat/10% Pinot Gris. Vendangeur Masqué or “masked harvester” is the label for De Moor wines made from sourced fruit and/or rented vines. In this case, the source is an Alsatian grower with whom the de Moors have been working for a decade. The farming is organic and the bunches are by hand. For Azimut, the Riesling was destemmed and the other varieties whole-cluster pressed. Fermentation was spontaneous with indigenous yeasts The wine went through malo and was aged on the fine lees in barrel without bâtonnage. It was botted without filtration and a small bit of sulfur.
