2007 Roagna Asili Vecchie Viti, Barbaresco DOCG, Italy
$395.00
Asili is a tiny 0.22 ha parcel south of Barbaresco village, planted with 50+ year-old Nebbiolo on limestone-marl soils with yellow‑sand strata. The vines are massale-selected, hand‑harvested, and fermented with native yeasts in large wooden vats. Maceration lasts 70–90 days submerged under the cap—a technique rarely practiced today—with minimal sulfur or filtration. The wine ages in neutral oak for around five years before bottling
