This wine is 100% Baga coming from estate vineyards on limestone soil, mostly in central Bairrada near the village of Ois do Barrio. Fermented in stainless steel then aged in used oak barrels for about 18 months. 2016 was a really outstanding vintage in Bairrada, making unusually red fruited, floral, delicately textured wines.
