2016 Valentin Zusslin Sylvaner Bollenberg Alsace, France

2016 Valentin Zusslin Sylvaner Bollenberg Alsace, France

$36.00

Vintage 2016: spring was really humid, with daily intense rain during the months of April and May. Summer was extremely dry, with a drought period in July and August. The result was a delay in grape maturity and many days of harvest in the same parcel to find the cluster with the right balance.
The vintage 2016 was also the sudden death of Jean-Marie Zusslin the father of Marie and Jean-Paul. The strong rallying of the team made it possible to overcome this hardship and gave birth to a vintage full of energy and life.
