2022 Weiser-Künstler Riesling Zeppwingert Brut Nature Sekt

The 2020er Enkircher Zeppwingert Sekt Brut Nature was made from fruit picked on very old, partially still un-grafted vines and was aged on its lees for 22 months before being disgorged in May 2023 (the disgorgement date is not provided on the label). This Sekt offers a super nose of pear, ginger, bergamot, caramel, and whipped cream. It is still under the impact of an active mousse on the palate, but the finish already offers a gorgeous sense of subtly creamy fruits and herbs. The aftertaste is nicely yeasty and fruity.
