The excellent Chênes terroir is located in the eastern part of the village of Cumières, between the Route d'Ay and the Côte d'Hautvillers, under the famous abbey.
Our plot has optimal conditions – location mid-slope facing south, chalk subsoil under a thin layer of clay-loam soil, organic cultivation for a very long time… Made from a selection of good-ripe Chardonnays
, Fermented and aged for eight months in oak barrels, the 2014 Chênes bottles spend three and a half years in the cellar on lees.
The Les Chênes cuvée is a great Blanc de Blancs champagne, Brut Nature (no added sugar), characterized by its finesse, its complex structure, its mineral and saline persistence…
