Cros Parantoux is the exemplary story of a terroir revealed by a man: from almost fallow land, certainly well exposed to the East but difficult to work, Henri Jayer was able to extract the quintessence of Vosne Romanée. The plot is sloping, stony, the soil is shallow, the situation is cool. The Jayer family remains the owner of most of the appellation but we are happy to be able to work around 30 acres.
