A wine made specifically to the powerful 22 vintage; the goal for the Poulsard to add aromatics to the phenolic pinot of the vintage. The final blend is 50/50 Pinot Noir and Poulsad from parcels Les Bodines and Verleule, both located in Arbois. Each parcel has a mix of yound and old vines, with the oldest being 60 years-old in the parcel of Verleule. Les Bodines is limestone-centric and Verleule is dominated by iridescent marnes. Naturally farmed; no herbicides or pesticides, works in tandem with nature. All hand-harvested. Destemmed by hand, while berry maceration. Fermented in tank with indigenous yeasts. Aged 8 months in tank with no added SO2.
