2021 Fumey-Chatelain 'Le Bastard' Trousseau

$54.00

The 2020 Le Bastard Trousseau was produced with the old Trousseau à la Dame grapes planted 16 years ago on land that had Savagnin before in two lieux-dits, Aux Loges and Aux Barbi, on marl soils. It fermented with 55% full clusters and had a 20-day maceration. It is super perfumed and expressive, with lots of finesse, like a Grenache, floral, fine-boned and elegant. A unique Trousseau from Jura. I tasted the 2022 from foudre, and it was also great, but the 2021 is too scarce… 2,500 bottles produced. - Luis Gutierrez
