100% pinot noir coming from two parcels. 2⁄3 of the fruit is from Mellecly, which lies within the Mercurey appellation and sees shallow red clay soils on limestone. The remaining 1⁄3 is from Saint Mard de Vaux, which sees granitic-clay soils. Average vine age is 35 years.
Fruit sees semi-carbonic fermentation in a single, 3500L vat. Juice ages for 8 months in old oak barrels. No added s02.
