Michel Couvreur Fleeting Single Malt Whisky Scotland
$125.00
A rare hybrid-elevage single malt distilled in Scotland, then matured entirely in Michel Couvreur’s Burgundian cellars. The whisky spends 5 years in old Sherry casks, gaining dried-fruit richness and oxidative depth, before transferring to Pinot Noir barrels from Domaine Chandon de Briailles for another 6 years, where it picks up subtle red-fruit lift, earth, and vinous spice.
Silky, wine-marked, and quietly powerful, Fleeting layers walnut, dried cherry, gentle rancio, and a long, warm finish shaped by Couvreur’s singular cave-aging.
Extremely limited—only 5 cases imported into the U.S.—and a standout example of Couvreur’s boundary-pushing, cellar-driven approach to malt whisky.
