“The nose opens with vanilla icing and a clear oak presence, accented by faint roasted nuttiness and a touch of citrus. The palate brings sweet corn, vanilla frosting, and confectionery richness, supported by a lighter-than-expected viscosity and an acid-driven lift that cuts through the sweetness. Citrus peel and pithy brightness shape the mid-palate and flow into a dry, lightly tannic finish that keeps the whiskey refreshing. Overall, it’s a beautifully balanced 13-year bourbon where citrus and acidity counter the confectionery notes, making each sip incredibly compelling.”—Skurnik Whisk(e)y Portfolio

He returned not only with this extraordinary whiskey, but also with a deeper sense of Willett’s family legacy and their patient, exacting craft.
