A blend of Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, with less than 20% Merlot. Vine age ranges from 5-55 years old. The grapes are harvested in 5-10 passes, and each harvest is fermented separately. Macerations last 5-6 days; fermented and aged in concrete vats. Bottled on March 1, 2019 and aged for additional months before release. 12,904 bottles made.

Daniele has new vines and vineyards coming on board, which will eventually reduce the percentage of Merlot in this wine.; once that happens, it can qualify for the Bardolino Classico moniker. Both sites have typical clay-limestone marls. Harvest is in late September at yield of 4000-6000kg/ha (around 28-42 hl/ha). The grapes are co-fermented spontaneously, with a brief maceration of 36 hours. The addition of a little Magliocco has historic precedent in the area, as it softens Gaglioppo's notorious tannins and stabilizes its feeble color a bit.
