Gamay + very old Pinot Noir from a Burgundian massale selection (the first vines planted by Claude Sauvat, who founded the domaine).

Site: A sector just outside Boudes with a strong dominance of basalt and highly fractured limestone.
 - 
Context: In 2022, the Gamays went into Abrupts and the Pinots into Vie ordinaire. In 2023, this portion was isolated for its singular character.
 - 
Vinification: 10–12 days whole-cluster maceration in large stainless tanks; bucket-only wettings for cap management.
 - 
Élevage: 12 months in old 228 L barrels + 6 months in bottle.
 - 
Additions/Finishing: Native yeast (no inoculation). Unfined. Unfiltered. SO₂: 1.5 g/hL at bottling (~15 mg/L).
