2024 Kobayashi Marsanne - Roussanne, Washington, USA
$66.00
76% Marsanne and 24% Roussanne from WeatherEye Vineyard, located at the top of Red Mountain in eastern Yakima Valley. The Rhone varieties Travis and Mario source from WeatherEye are ungrafted, single-stake trained, and planted at high density on rocky, fractured basalt soils. The fruit was destemmed and cold-soaked on skins (without fermentation) for roughly one week before barrel-fermenting in cigar-shaped 320L French oak barrels (30% new), then aged for 11 months before bottling.
