2022 St. Reginald Parish 'The Marigny' Pinot Gris Willamette Valley, USA
$27.99
Winemakers’ note: “Basically, Andy makes this every year in an attempt to recreate a picnic that happened in a park in Texas in the spring of 1997. The wine was Pinot Grigio. It was crisp, slightly effervescent and bought by a friend that was old enough to go into the store to get it. It was also perfect in its simplicity, as we were young and full of discovery.”
Grape: Pinot Gris
Vineyard: Willamette Valley
Making of: Manual harvest. Whole cluster fruit pressed directly to neutral barrels with no settling. Spontaneous fermentation. Racked to stainless tank 2 weeks prior to bottling. No fining or filtration, tiny amount of sulfur at bottling.
