Maffrei wanted to celebrate the local/native varietals like Arneis and Nascetta, while also producing a wine with energy and persistence so he added in some locally sourced Riesling for freshness and acidity. The Arneis gives that fruity body to the wine along with floral aromatics, while the Nascetta adds structure and some green/herbaceous-ness to freshen it up.
The wine is done 100% in stainless steel with no purposeful skin contact or long maceration.
