A Pinot blanc from two small, western oriented plots, on steep slopes, worked mainly manual and grown on limestone clay soil in Kirchhofen. The vines from the main plot are more than 50 years old, bunches got pressed as whole cluster, fermented in used barrels from different size. Aged for one year on the full lees in barrel and another half year in stainless steel on its entire lees. Classic Wasenhaus at it's finest...the old vines here really take the wine to the next level.
