2024 Peter Lauer, Riesling Feils Fass 13 Grosses Gewachs, Saar, Germany
$60.00
Mosel Fine Wines: "The 2024 Feils N°13, as it is referred to on the central part of the label (GG is written top left), is a fully bone-dry wine (with less than 1 g/l of residual sugar) made with fruit harvested on this south-south-east facing Lieu-dit overseeing the Saar (legally part of the Ayler Kupp vineyard). This cask sample displays a quite aromatic and seductive nose of candied grapefruit, apricot, almond, herbs, basilic, quince, and pear. The wine is delicately creamy and juicy on the palate, with a slightly broad feel. The finish is a lot more focused and delivers great length and dry notes of spices and salty elements."
